Aside from the very popular spicy “BICOL EXPRESS” and “PINANGAT” (gabi leaves cooked in coconut milk with shrimp and fish/pork) which became part of the daily fare of Bicolanos, Domingueños had also concocted a local dish which they can truly claim their own invention – the “TILMOK”.

“TILMOK”is a delicious native recipe made with thinly chopped river shrimp(gangawan) and grated young coconut and heavily spiced with onions and garlic. The mixture is wrapped in young coconut or banana leaf and put to slow boil until cooked.

“TINOLANG MANOK” also a delicious native recipe made with small cut of native chicken cooked with ginger, then add with pepper leaves and some cube sized young papaya and spices, including the fiery sili and then cooked.
