For the adventurous and nature buffs, a visit to Sto. Domingo will not be complete if you do not climb its mountains, rich with lush green forest that offers a variety of flora and fauna, some of which are rare orchids and birds.

Descending in deep mountain ravines for mountain springs or for catch is excitingly dangerous and challenging to the adventure-inclined individuals.

The panoramic Mayon Volcano, aside from its perfect cone and fiery eruptions, its attractive power draws horde of adventure- seeking visitors to climb towards its crater. The volcano affords the visitors cool mountain air, lots of exercise and the grandest view of Legazpi City and the sea.

If you decide to trek the whole day, you may enter Mayon through the Mayon Volcano Natural Park in Barangay Lidong. Experienced guides can bring you up to 6,000 ft. above sea level. CAMP I, where bunk house had been constructed is frequently full during weekends and during the heights of visits of foreign tourist, even during weekdays.
