BATTLECRY:    “Reaching out for an effective, dutiful, nurturing and acceptable service.”

The hand symbolizes the present dispensation reaching out to the community thru effective good governance and provision of basic services.   The hand also signifies unity of efforts that would foster workable relationships and development in the local government unit as well as in the private and business sectors down to the marginalized sectors of the society.

The color represents the various sectors in the community which the present administration serves regardless of their views, beliefs, interests and political affiliation.

The rainbow color also denotes hope after a difficulty in the conflicting political climate besetting our town.  There is always a tomorrow.  The local government works in high spirits of unity towards the betterment of Santo Domingo.

Why “Reaching out”? Amidst poverty in the economy and politics, aggression and disunity became an epidemic.  Crisis in the leadership is likewise evident that resulted to confusion and vacuum in the governance.  

A house divided cannot stand; neither can it serve its purpose.  It is in this premise that the local government aims to normalize the political situation, peace and order alongside harmony and understanding among fellow Domingueños.

Progress and development in all aspects can be achieved only if there is a concerted effort in all sectors; hence, the local officials see that reaching out to the community is the foundation of good governance and trust…a jumpstart of genuine progress!

Given a short period, and fully aware of the limited funds left in the municipal coffer, the Acting Mayor is exhausting all means to source funds from the national government and line agencies to augment the meager resources of the LGU.  The present leadership intends to perform and accomplish the following plans and programs:

1. Town Fiesta Celebration and 260th Founding Anniversary
2. Polycarbonate shed around the gym
3. People’s Hall
4. Enhancement of fountain and park (spray)
5. Streetlights in front of the gym
6. lightings at the welcome arc and Basud Bridge
7. Children’s park with concrete tables
8. birthday gifts to senior citizens and others
9. Job Fair
10. Medical Missions
11. Repainting of Market, gym and other public facilities
12. Implementation of Fish Sanctuary
13. Re-installation of Timbangan ng Bayan
14. Establisshment of Pasalubong Center
15. Provision of uniformed rolling    stores for food stuff vendors
